About Me

In my day job, I am a venture capitalist investing in early stage healthcare and lifesciences companies. Before that, I worked for IBM for 23 years and started their lifesciences business, which focuses on the convergence of computing technologies with the exciting new directions in biology and medicine. My second job, together with my brother, is restoring our family farm to a working farm using organic and sustainable agricultural methods. Last but not at all least, I am mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister, aunt and wife, and I try to chronicle our family's extended wanderings and adventures.
